My approach with each client is to meet them where they are. We work together on a shared journey of discovery and problem-solving. I believe I can help people manage their lives more effectively. I particularly enjoy working with clients who struggle with who they are or what they want from life. They might feel depressed, anxious or ineffective. Many come from neglectful or abusive families. They may be newly sober or in another recovery program, but need additional help building a life. I love the puzzle of sorting out issues, untangling life stories, and making connections to current struggles. I offer nurturing support and forthright guidance by combining patience with direction and action. My desired therapy outcomes for each client are increased confidence in the ability to handle challenges, achieve closeness, and pursue dreams. I have many years of experience working with a wide variety of clients and issues. My office is peaceful, accessible, has a private waiting area, and is off I-394.
