I help couples work through marital conflicts and help them achieve a relationship based on trust, security, mutual empathy and deeper levels of connection. I also work with individuals struggling with histories of trauma such as sexual, physical or emotional abuse. In addition, I help men who struggle with compulsive sexual behaviors, anxieties, depression, and/or obsessive thoughts. I encourage clients to explore their past in order to identify patterns that are affecting their current relationships and personal goals. I provide a safe place to share personal struggles and work toward change. Upon request, I provide a Christian approach. I help couples identify negative relational patterns and explore attachment issues that affect communication while rebuilding healthy growth fostering connections. I assist survivors of abuse in the process of remembering, mourning, and reconnecting. I help individuals with sexual compulsions identify patterns, create an accountability plan, and develop greater self worth. I also provide clients who have a Christian worldview with a safe place to receive therapy that integrates faith and counseling. My experience includes working with priests (diocesan and religious orders), seminarians, and individuals discerning religious life and ministry.
