Sometimes we feel stuck in a personal or professional lives. Our relationships too can feel stagnant at times, or sometimes worse, full of conflict and distance. My goal is to work with each person to find practical solutions to helping them get through difficult times in their relationships and lives. We all want to feel understood and close to those we care about the most. I specialize in helping couples improve communication and closeness. I also work with people struggling with eating disorders, depression or anxiety, as well as experiences of abuse or trauma. I focus on improving life in the here and now and realizing your life's possibilities. I also have years of experience working with children and teens on a variety of school and home issues, especially surrounding divorce, abuse, self esteem, depression, anxiety, and family relationships. Parents are closely involved with their child's therapy. I use play and art to engage children and teens.
