As a psychologist my goal is to establish a safe, nurturing, and secure environment for clients seeking to live to their fullest potential. I believe that a trusting relationship is necessary in order for individuals to grow and succeed. Therefore, I seek to work in collaboration with my clients to achieve their goals and establish a healthy lifestyle. In my work with children and adolescents I work closely with the parents and schools in order to provide a multidisciplinary treatment approach. I conduct home and school visits which are vital in working with children. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy, as well as other evidence-based approaches to help the individual become aware of their thoughts and emotions. Throughout this safe and nurturing process the patient gains insight which reduces symptom severity, increases self-esteem, and brings healthy life choices. In my practice I treat a wide range of disorders including trauma,depression, anxiety, attention deficit disorders, autism, conduct disorder, and learning disabilities. I work with individuals ages 3 and over. I offer individual, couple, and family therapy, as well as psychoeducational assessments,and psychological evaluations.
