I am a marriage and family therapist with three years experience working with individuals, couples, and families of various age groups and diversities. I offer a warm, friendly, caring environment for my clients along with a good rapport which leads to a lasting relationship. I have many life experiences that I bring to the table which include recently losing both my parents in the same year, becoming a newlywed for the first time, having a blended family, marrying someone with a different ethnic background, and understanding birth order - being the youngest in my family of seven children. One technique I offer is learning about your personality type using the MBTI. As an individual, you learn about who you are and what makes you unique. As a couple, it helps you learn about your spouse's personality type, how to work best with each other and how to compliment one another. Prior to my experience as a therapist I was an elementary school teacher for 10 years. Along with marriage and family therapy I also offer grief therapy, premarital therapy, and individual therapy to name a few.
