I have 12 years experience providing individual, couples, and family therapy. I believe in using humor and a down to earth approach in therapy. Couples Counseling: I specialize in working with couples who are looking for ways to reinvigorate their relationship and couples on the verge of divorce. Partners will learn ways to improve their emotional connection, conflict resolution, and sexual functioning and satisfaction. I can also assist couples in determining a course of action regarding separation, divorce, or healing after an affair. I also use Gottman-Based approaches, to foster love and support using evidence based approaches. Individual Counseling: I help individuals address anxiety, depression, trauma, and other difficulties using cognitive behavioral and other brief therapy approaches (mindfulness, solution focused, etc.). Teens and Family Counseling is also offered addressing many concerns. Training: BA: (2000), MS: MFT (2003) and a MS: Guidance Counseling/Mental Health (2004) at UWStout.
