Do you hate the idea of "therapy" but want change? Do you find yourself/your relationships in the same patterns again and again that just aren't working? I love working with people who believe that changing their lives is impossible..my approach is radical acceptance of wherever you are at, and wherever you would like to go. I specialize in helping to figure out the real reason things are happening to help empower you to deal w ingrained relationship/family conflict; destructive life patterns; anxiety/depression/panic/eating issues/hopelessness/grief/loss; behavioral issues w children and sexual issues. I specialize in individual and family work especially high-conflict relationships, ingrained parenting and relationship patterns, including blended families/foster care/adoption issues. I draw from my own life experience including being a Mom. I enjoy using mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy techniques. I am open to the possibility of home visits barring any insurance coverage restrictions depending on location (York and Sanford general areas).
