Are you struggling with a life transition, perhaps facing a divorce or separation? If you have children, you may be wondering if they are going to be OK, especially if you do not feel like you are OK. Children are impacted emotionally by the same events that impact adults, but they process them differently. I work with a variety of clients- ranging from very young children to adults and couples. I have extensive training and experience in play therapy with children ages 2- 10. I believe this is the best modality to help children who developmentally cannot process emotional distress through talk therapy. Most children are excited to come to play therapy because they find it to be a place where they can truly "Be". I hope for the same experience with my adult clients- that they are motivated to come to therapy and that they find it to be safe, inviting, freeing and transformational. I also enjoy working with couples, helping them to explore the core needs and vulnerabilities that have led them to a place of pain and conflict and helping them understand how knowing their core value can lead them to a place of healing and restoration in their marriage.
