I worked in Community Mental Health for over nine years and discovered I work well with clients who engage in self-harming behaviors and/or have experienced trauma, grief/loss, depression, anxiety, or parenting issues. I believe it is important to meet my clients where they are and work toward the goals they have identified as important to them. I recognize it is difficult to share your story with someone you have just met and work very hard to keep my office as a "judgment free zone." I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques as I believe everyone is different and therapy must be personalized to address those differences. I primarily work with adolescent females (14 and up) and adults, both women and men.
