I take a collaborative approach with you to overcome life's challenges. Maybe you feel "stuck" or derailed by an unhealthy relationship, divorce, poor choices, undesirable behaviors, stress, or unwanted events in your life. Partnering with the right counselor can prove to be very beneficial. I am passionate about helping you achieve your desired outcomes in therapy. Some of the concerns that I help people with are: marital problems, infidelity, divorce navigation and recovery, depression, anxiety, life purpose/meaning, low self worth, "Failure to Launch", men's issues, and transitions to retirement or new careers. I also work with students and adults to identify education/career choices. I use an integrative approach to therapy including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, combined with a healthy mix of coaching and encouragement. I primarily employ Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy in marriage counseling. EFCT has a proven higher rate of success and improvement in relationships than other approaches.
