All people deserve to live healthy, satisfying lives and my intention is to help clients find ways to increase insight, clarity, balance, and meaning. I am passionate about intersection between psychotherapy, research, and contemplative mindfulness with a goal of supporting clients on their journey to wellness and self-discovery. With over 20 of as a psychotherapist and teaching at a university level, and an eclectic skill base which includes helping clients release or integrate past traumatic experiences, abuse and history of depression. I am also committed to providing culturally competent care to Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Queer-Identified and those exploring gender and sexuality. I provide clinical training for therapists, presentations for organizations, schools, and health care providers on how to provide comprehensive care to transgender youth, adults and sexual minorities (LGBTIQQ). As a Gender Specialist, I have extensive experience doing clinical work with transgender people and their loved ones since 2000. I am available as a clinical consultant, as well as to supervise pre-licensed clinicians.
