Facing change, hardship or loss? Do you desire more from life and your relationships? As human beings, we long to connect to others who will support us and respect our experiences and worldview. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, I have served the mental health community for two decades. I enjoy working with a wide variety of populations but have special interest in the treatment of adolescents, women's issues, life transitions, recurrent negative behavioral patterns, trauma, and working with individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds, spiritual practices or those from the lesbian, gay, or bisexual community. I employ a wide range of techniques in my practice which include but are not limited to: EMDR, mindfulness, motivational interviewing and goal setting, CBT, relaxation skills training, interpersonal therapy (IPT), hypnotherapy, pain reduction and holistic perspectives. As a practitioner, my goal is to help support and inspire individuals to achieve their goals and realize their potential. I find the practice of psychotherapy both exciting and fulfilling and the opportunity to work with individuals seeking healthy change an absolute privilege.
