I am a licensed master's level Social Worker in the State of Michigan with a law degree. I provide mediation services in divorce cases, elder issues, marriage, and any other family situations including cohabitation agreements for heterosexual and same sex relationships. In addition, I provide ethics consultations for social workers, case assessments to attorneys in social work ethics cases and family law cases. Other services include: parenting coordination and counseling services for individuals, couples, and families. I have over 24 years of experience in working with families and over 19 years of experience as a mediator! Therapeutic treatment modalities utilized vary with the needs of the client. While conventional talk therapy is used, other forms of therapy like art therapy, journaling, reading therapy, etc. are considered in developing the treatment plan collaboratively with each client. I appeared on the Cooking Channel's TV show, Restaurant Redemption. The episode first aired November 5, 2013. The show can be seen on-line. I also teach for Eastern Michigan University's Social Work Continuing Education Department.
