I am a psychotherapist with over 20 years of clinical experience and Certified in Family and Couples therapy. My treatment approach is primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My work experience includes over 18 years of outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment, hospital social work, with expertise in maternal and child healthcare, general medicine and psychiatry. Areas of interest and clinical experience include the treatment of mood disorders (such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder), anger management, grief counseling, coping with illnesses, immigration and acculturation issues. Additionally, couples therapy (communication, healing after affairs, infertility, sexual problems, divorce) family therapy and parenting skills. My practice offers a very personalized approach to counseling. Clients contact me directly and report feeling that the setting is comfortable, private and confidential.
