I am a clinical social worker with 20 years experience. I serve children, individuals, couples and families with a family-focused approach in a home-like child and family friendly environment. I work with clients from preschool through adulthood. I have experience and training in working with children and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, divorce, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, childhood bipolar and Marital/Couple issues. I work with individuals, both child and adult, within the context of their family and home lives. I believe that lasting changes cannot be made unless they are made with a deeper understanding of their environment. I work with individuals and families across the lifespan. I have specialized training in attachment issues, including Theraplay and post-adoption treatment. Further, I have over 150 hours of play therapy training and a fully functional play room to work with children and families. I have specialized trauma instruction including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. While I very much enjoy my specialized work with children, I have a general practice to serve adults and couples as well. I work with many adults recovering from traumatic childhoods, difficult relationships, and life-long struggles with depression and anxiety. I also help families with parenting issues, including parenting special needs children.
