I am a bilingual CT and NY licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in Connecticut. Previously, I worked as a full-time Senior Staff Psychologist at Maimonides Medical Center Child Adolescent Outpatient Services and a part-time psychotherapist at private practice in New York. As a certified CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and intensively trained DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) therapist, I teach my clients tangible tools/skills to make healthy choices by approaching life challenges flexibly and mindfully. My background in Psychodynamic and Mindfulness-Based psychotherapy led me to fluidly utilize different therapeutic approaches that are most helpful to individual needs. I have extensive experiences in working with children, adolescents, and adults who suffered from depression, behavioral problems, Social Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Phobia, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and Emotion Dysregulation difficulties. I provide individual, family, and couple therapy as well as adolescent and adult DBT and CBT skills training groups. I have worked with individuals from diverse ethnic/religious backgrounds. My general clinical approach focuses on providing safe and non-judgmental therapeutic environment while helping my clients build essential skills to make positive life changes.
