I am a licensed counselor of mental health in Delaware and a certified marriage and family therapist. I received my Master's degree from the University of Virginia. I personalize treatment for each client's needs. While creating a warm, non-judgmental environment, I collaborate with the client to increase hope for change and optimism based on the work that we do together in therapy. I have had years of experience helping married couples and families to improve their communication and enhance trust and am trained in PCIT, a therapy proven to help children's behavioral issues and strengthen the parent-child bond. I have experience working with clients of all ages and from all walks of life. I have helped victims of domestic violence as well as with those who have abused. I have conducted bilingual marriage, family, and child therapy. I was a counselor at the University of Delaware for eight years and while there, I created an ongoing support group for returning adult students.
