I provide an eclectic and wellness approach (including CBT) to identifying feelings, needs and self concepts that interfere with healthy behavior and relationships. After uncovering past family (systems approach) contributing issues, I assist clients in problem solving those things they can now control in a positive manner. Stopping negative past and present thougths and replacing with them more positive, hopeful thoughts and ideas has been beneficial to my clients. I work with children, adolescents, families, couples and individual men and women. I have 32 years of experience including working with depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders and learning problems. As a special education School Social Worker for 32 years and the parent of ADHD sons, I am skilled in identifying school issues and providing ways to address them both at school (by accessing available services) and home. This includes assistance with college planning.
