I believe that effective therapy is dependent on a good fit between patient and clinician and I strive to create a safe environment for clients to discuss thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment. I have been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, psycho-dynamic therapy, solution-focused, and family therapy. I received my Master's in Social Work from Eastern Michigan University with a focus on Children and Families and I am fully licensed Master's Level Social Worker in the state of Michigan for both clinical and macro practice. My specialties include working with children and adults who have anxiety, mood disorders, and grief and loss. I also have a certificate as a Trauma Consultant from the TLC Institute and I have been in the field of social work for 20+ years. I strive to help adults, children, and families gain a deeper understanding of their behaviors, thoughts, and feelings to better their lives.
