I have always had a passion for walking alongside individuals struggling with life's transitional difficulties. I enjoy working with adult women and men looking to confront their obstacles in order to experience a life of confidence, peace, and contentment. My expressed interests are helping those dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, obsessions, and support for recovering addicts and their loved ones. I also work with couples in the areas of pre-marital, distressed marital, and divorce adjustment counseling. I also provide counseling for primary caregivers and the life transitional stage issues. I have received additional therapy training in the following areas:Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR Level 2); Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Prepare and Enrich Couples Counseling and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT). I attend counseling educational seminars throughout the year to remain current on new developments in psychotherapy research/ treatment. Membership with NPI, ACA,TLPCA, APA, AAMFT, and the NAACC. I lead women's process & psycho-educational groups. Topics include boundaries, healing shame, improved interpersonal relationships".
