Everyone has a story. We often focus on negative beliefs and fail to see potential strengths in our stories that could assist us in overcoming obstacles. My goal is to help you move from pain to a discovery of your strengths so that you can deal more effectively with life's challenges. I provide a caring, empathic space in which clients are accepted unconditionally; a safe space for people to explore issues that are causing pain. With support and guidance, we will work together to look at challenging issues and understand how long-standing negative beliefs can be impacting your current circumstances. I earned my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Lipscomb University. I provide compassionate counseling to clients in a manner that is affirming, respectful, and non-judgmental. I am Level II trained in EMDR and a Certified Trauma Professional through the International Association of Trauma Professionals. I have been married to Robert for 28 years and we have four children. I received my PharmD degree from the University of Tennessee and worked as a pharmacist and then a stay-at-home mom for many years before pursuing my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
