The mission at Motor City Center for Hope is to create a professional yet peaceful, authentic and caring environment dedicated to treating each individual served as a unique being. I strive to rebuild hope not only in my clients but in the community as a whole. It is my commitment and promise that clients will never have to wait beyond their scheduled appointment time. Each appointment is sufficiently spaced out to give each person served the time and respect he/she deserves. No wait time also increases privacy as clients are not sitting together in a crowded lobby. In addition to numerous years of experience, I have specialized trained in both EMDR and Motivational Interviewing. EMDR is excellent at helping individuals heal from trauma, abuse, and/or PTSD. Whereas traditional therapy used to take years to resolve trauma, EMDR can see results in as little as six sessions. The intake and paperwork requirements are minimal. Whereas some places take hours doing initial intakes, I strive to spend less that 5 minutes on paperwork and instead immediately dig into the issues at hand. By your second session, I will have a treatment plan completed and ready for your review.
