I practice adult psychiatry, including medication management and psychotherapy. I tailor treatment to the needs of the individual, integrating interpersonal, cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and mindfulness-based approaches in my work. Due to my background in forensic psychiatry, I have particular expertise in working with individuals experiencing significant loss or life changes, as well as problems in the workplace. Prior to joining the Ann Arbor Center for the Family as an affiliate, I spent several years assessing and treating individuals with legal problems and a wide variety of mental health issues, including extensive past trauma. I enjoy helping people to improve their quality of life through facilitating introspection, developing insight and skills for managing anxiety and mood issues, and resolving relationship conflicts and and other struggles.
