Children and adolescents often develop challenging behaviors as a way of expressing their inner thoughts and feelings that they don't always have the words to explain. I help give youth a voice through creating a safe, trusting environment where they feel safe to explore emotions, share thoughts, and develop solutions. I am a clinical psychologist who is passionate about working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. I take a strength-based, relational approach to help individuals feel comfortable working through difficulties. I am a compassionate, non-judgmental, and supportive psychologist who will encourage you to grow, find hope, and cope with challenges. Areas of specialty include the treatment of oppositional-defiant disorder, trauma, anger issues, relationship/family issues, substance use, self-esteem, mood disorders, ADHD, and bipolar disorder in youth. I specifically tailor my interventions to each individual. I utilize various methods of psychotherapy, including play therapy, creative arts therapy, CBT, and interpersonal, psychodynamic therapy.
