In 30+ years of private practice I have worked with a diverse group of people. I am trained in Psychodynamic and Psychoanalytically oriented Psychotherapy. Essentially this means I work to create a therapeutic relationship that facilitates the uncovering, examining and working through of internal conflicts that inhibit the person to fully experience life. Whether the problems manifest in the person's capacity for working, loving or playing it is the working alliance or fully negotiated therapeutic relationship that facilitates the desired changes. This is basically a way of examining and working with the physical dynamics of the above-mentioned conflicts. These are manifested in tension patterns in the body and limitations in the persons breathing. I am very fortunate to be enjoying my work and ongoing training as much, if not more, than when I began 30+ years ago. During these years I have felt honored to participate in an often difficult and sometimes lengthy process in which so much human courage has been demonstrated.
