When I meet with a person, I like to first identify their strengths. Each of us have our own personal strengths to build upon. I provide a warm, safe, and judgment free environment and view all concerns brought to me as an opportunity to assist each individual to improve their situation. I tailor the treatment to the person, but like to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy as they have proven to be effective for treating anxiety, depression, panic disorders, PTSD, and substance use. I have been in the Community Mental Health setting for 20 years and have had the pleasure of working with individual's with various mental health concerns, such as Depression, Anxiety, Bi-Polar, Personality Disorders, and Substance Use.These experiences have taught me various techniques/care-giving skills to provide a holistic approach to treatment.
