I have been serving individuals, children, and families in the northeast Michigan area for over ten years. My prior experience includes direct care in a residential facility for adolescents, child welfare case management, children's home-based therapy with children diagnosed with a serious emotional disturbance, and outpatient therapy with children, adolescents, and adults. My focus in treatment is assisting children, adolescents, and adults work through challenging issues they may be facing such as divorce, trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, and issues of spirituality. I also offer family therapy, parent management training, and marital therapy. I enjoy working with the caregivers of children and adolescents who are displaying defiant and oppositional behaviors. I have been trained in a parent management training program designed to increase prosocial behaviors and decrease antisocial behaviors in children and adolescents.
