I believe in the power of the therapist-patient relationship and providing a safe, confidential environment, free of judgment, and built on respect. My practice rests on a foundation that all people have unique gifts and challenges, and are worth of peace and fulfillment. My focus is providing individual therapy to Adults and Adolescents; I have advanced training and certification in treating Perinatal Mood disorders, which includes: Postpartum depression/anxiety/OCD; Infant loss and miscarriage; infertility issues. Other training and experience includes: Grief & Loss, Eating Disorders and Body Image Issues. Other specialties, include: Relationship Problems; Coping with Medical Illness; Trauma & Abuse; Women's Issues & Self-Esteem; Mood disorders & Anxiety. In addition to my training, education, and past work experience, I bring personal experience and interests to my approach as well. I regularly use mindfulness and meditation in session as coping tools, positive self-care, and strategies to explore issues we are working on in treatment.
