JOAK Counseling & Behavioral Center offers an integrated approach to counseling services that are as unique and diverse as you are. Throughout my experience of providing counseling services I have worked with issues of anxiety, grief or loss, depression, substance abuse, adjustment, anger issues, trauma, LGBTQ concerns, and many more. I also spend time working with families that have developmentally disabled children or adults under their care. This may include those on the autism spectrum, those with ADHD, and those that suffer from sensory processing disorders or other pervasive developmental disabilities. Effects of emotional and/or psychological problems are challenging. Through my background in existential-humanistic psychology, I provide an insightful and professional therapeutic experience. Having worked across multiple areas, providing behavioral therapy and in-office therapy to individuals, families, and groups I've acquired a versatile knowledge base of therapeutic techniques effective towards successful counseling. Our office offers a full spectrum of emotional and psychological health services to fit the needs or adults, adolescents, and children.
