As a licensed clinical psychologist, I feel honored to help my clients overcome their challenges and experience a journey of change and transformation. I specialize in treating symptoms associated with anxiety, depression, self-injurious behaviors, trauma, relationship problems and family issues. I thoroughly enjoy working with individuals of all ages. Nonetheless, I have specialized training and clinical experience working with children, adolescents and families. Psychotherapy is a unique opportunity to discover insights into often complex behaviors, thoughts, emotions, values and relationships. It is also a process that can offer great hope and healing. My approach to psychotherapy is one of collaboration, compassion, and acceptance. The interventions utilized are evidence-based, developmentally appropriate, and personalized. I also love teaching: Assistant Professor, UF College of Medicine Jacksonville, Department of Psychiatry; & Adjunct Professor, UNF Brooks College of Health. Whether I am partnering with an adult, a parent, adolescent, or child to help solve problems, I enjoy being a guide and witness to meaningful growth and positive change.
