In our therapeutic relationship, I can provide a safe arena for you to explore your life choices and tap into your resources in breaking through limits that have hindered you in creating the quality of life that you desire. My specialties include positive psychology- happiness, relocation, immigration and cultural adjustments. In addition, I have a special passion to work with life transitions, and second half of life, redefining who you are and planning around career and life changes, empty nesting, and retirement. I received a Masters Degree in educational psychology and completed post-graduate training in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I worked in New York City before relocating to Florida where I earned another Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work from Barry University. I am on the addict faculty of the UM and FIU, teaching adult 50+.
