I specialize in providing treatment to individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and issues with self-esteem, and difficulty with anger management. Additionally, I specialize in working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders in developing social and effective communication skills, as well as developing healthy peer relationships, and navigating various life transitions. I also enjoy working with individuals and families who are experiencing significant difficulties in their interpersonal relationships. I have experience and enjoy working with patients in individual, group, couples, and family therapy settings. I emphasize an interpersonal approach to treatment. Understanding how your relationships with others can contribute to your current needs, and developing successful and adaptive relationships is a fundamental component to therapy. Based on your needs, I also incorporate cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, and acceptance-based interventions. My approach to treatment involves developing a strong and empathic relationship between the patient and the therapist, which I believe is essential in facilitating meaningful change and increased self-awareness.
