I work with people who's lives feel out of control, rigid, stuck, or generally just unhealthy or unfulfilling. These feelings might be showing up with relationships, family, work-school, food, substances or other behaviors. My approach to therapy is to provide a safe, compassionate and honest environment to come to an awareness of why this is happening in your life, and guide you on the journey for growth and change. I work to meet you where you are, and together move toward your goals. My clinical training has been focused on person-centered psychodynamic therapy for healing our interpersonal relationships and ourselves. I specialize in family work, eating disorders, disordered eating, relationship issues, childhood behaviors, anxiety, depression, loss and trauma. As a license clinical social worker, I come from a strengths-based empowerment approach with a strong background in diversity and social justice. This allows for an awareness of culture, class, gender identity, sexual orientation and abilities.
