I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders and eating related concerns. My practice is within Under the Umbrella, a multidisciplinary group practice that specializes in eating disorder treatment in Bloomington, IN. I work with individuals ages 13 and up who struggle with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, emotional overeating, and other issues and concerns related to food and eating. I take a holistic and integrative approach to therapy, drawing upon interpersonal, cognitive-behavioral, and psychodynamic theories. My approach is tailored to meet an individual's needs based on presenting concerns and goals for therapy; in addition, I believe it is imperative to consider the framework of each person's unique experience and cultural background. Under the Umbrella is a multidisciplinary group practice specializing in the treatment of eating disorders and eating related concerns. Our practice is comprised of two psychologists and a kinesiologist, and we work closely with dieticians and physicians in the community. We also offer yoga classes for individuals in the recovery process.
