The joy of my work is coming to know my clients through these complex stories and collaborating with individuals and couples to find the connection they have been missing. I help adults and teens work through the anxiety and depression that holds them back from their goals. I'm a licensed psychologist in Dupont Circle, Washington, DC. Therapy should be a collaborative process and I participate actively. I believe that warmth and humor are essential to the healing process, therefore laughter is a familiar sound in my office. I serve clients of all sexual orientations, racial, cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds. I am particularly experienced in working with African-American and multi-racial, multi-cultural individuals and couples. I am particularly attuned of the role that culture plays in our lives and therefore am able to examine it freely with my clients.
