Hello, hopefully this brief, "blurb," will offer you some relevant information related to my experience as a psychotherapist. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor; earning my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Purdue University in 1989; and my Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Indiana University. My 23 years of clinical experience includes: working with adolescents in a psychiatric hospital setting; providing adolescent and family therapy with a psychiatrist for ten years. I have also been in private practice. Presently, as a psychotherapist, I utilize my experience and expertise in the areas of: individual and relationship work; including pre-marital, marital and divorce. I also work with couples and individuals in the areas of intimacy and infidelity. I continue to work with the adolescent population, realizing their struggles interfere with their potential. A special interest is working with women on issues related to: anxiety, depression and sexual abuse. Issues of struggling with gender identity, same sex partnerships are areas of experience
