I am an experienced clinical social worker with a specialty working with children, families, and adults. I provide a safe place to discuss a number of problem areas including grief, trauma, parenting, adoption and foster care issues, relationship issues, anxiety, and depression. I listen very well, offer direct feedback, and provide compassion and hope. I seek solutions and encourage the expression of thoughts and feelings. I have two locations. The Williamsurg, Virginia location accomodates for play therapy and sand tray therapy. The second location is in Mechanicsville, Virginia. I have experience working in private practice, community mental health, social services, and two tours in the US Peace Corps. I am certified in EMDR Level II for the treatment of trauma and anxiety.
