I have been providing quality treatment to children, adolescents and adults for over 15 years. I believe in the change process and that we each have the ability to improve our relationships and experience personal growth. I believe personal growth is facilitated through the relationship with a therapist that provides positive regard and understanding without the fear of judgment. I believe in treating the whole person through awareness, self regulation and focusing on the here and now. My areas of specialty include: ADHD (children and adults), parenting strategies, ODD, adjustment disorders, anxiety and mood disorders including suicidal thoughts, grief and loss, relationship issues and individuals/families with a loved one diagnosed with a serious mental illness. I am trained in a variety of methods and I pull from these based on each person's needs. I draw from the client's own goals to use a blended approach to the change process which focuses on the whole person and the healing therapeutic alliance.
