My focus is helping couples, individuals, and families identify and address what "doesn't work", and in a meaningful and respectful way, communicate their needs to create balance throughout the system. I believe in a systemic approach, and through the use of empathy, motivation, and a bit of humor, aim to help families recognize their strengths, and put those strengths to use in problem solving. My ability to join with families and couples (showing equal respect for each person in that system) has been my strongest tool in promoting success. I welcome any challenge. I utilize Cognitive-Behavioral, Strategic, Solution-Focused, and Experiential Therapy when working with clients. My focus is Marriage Counseling, Family Counseling, and Behavioral Intervention with children and adolescents of all ages. I look to strengthen the family foundation, and address issues of each family member through communication and teamwork. I have years of experience working with children with behavioral issues, supporting families in crisis, and look to help couples strengthen their marriages and with it the families they are an integral part of.
