I work with people to help them identify, address, and resolve their problems, so they can lead a happier and more complete life! The most important factor in therapy is the ability to connect with your therapist and that they are able to understand what you are going through and offer solutions. There are a variety of issues that will motivate people to seek counseling. Some problems are situational or adjustments to normal, but very difficult life challenges such as grief. Other problems are more chronic in nature and need interventions which help the person cope with, and overcome difficulties. I have over 25 years experience working with people with a variety of emotional and mental health concerns and addiction/substance abuse problems. I employ and utilize the best theoretical and treatment approach for the given situation. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is effective, and gets results for many presenting problems. My office is on the ground floor which makes it accessible to all. I offer compassionate care while helping you identify and achieve your therapy goals.
