I embrace a very wholistic approach to working with people, which encompasses exploring all aspects of our selves. Emotional, behavioral, biological/physical/medical, social, and spiritual factors all shape our experiences, and each provide oporrtunities andavenues for change when we desire that to happen. I incorporate cognitive/behavioral strategies as well as insight work in exploration of patterns that are causing distress. Guidance is offered to people who are experiencing anxiety and depression, PTSD, family/partnership conflict, and other forms of "stuckness", to allow space for growth in a safe and supportive manner. I am trained in EMDR, and teach relaxation techniques, breathing, and visualization exercises, as well as basic meditation practices to assist people in building space for transformation in their daily lives. I also LOVE to work with children and their parents in creating specialized strategies to meet their needs.
