I have been in practice for over 28 years. I work with individuals and couples offering help to grow a confident and secure sense of self, helping to resolve issues with depression and anxiety disorders, relationship and interpersonal issues, stressors and life transitions such as divorce, work and career goals, and loss and grief . I am an SEP providing expertise in healing trauma through Somatic Experiencing developed by Dr. Peter Levine and have a body/ sensory- motor oriented practice helping people work toward self regulation, mindfulness and well being. As an SEP (Somatic Experiencing Practitioner) I work with both situational and developmental trauma that create symptoms which interfere with self regulation, daily functioning and well being. Symptoms and discomfort may arise from sexual, physical or psychological abuse; domestic violence; car or other natural accidents, or medical procedures and traumas. In my practice, I provide a warm and aesthetically rich environment conducive to healing. I welcome and respect a diversity of clients regardless of race, sexual orientation, disability, or religious or political affiliation. I believe helping people restore a calm and natural balance to their lives is essential.
