There is great diversity in our human experience, and at some point many of us encounter the realities of personal losses, the loneliness of marginalization, the uncertainty of transitions, the need to be understood and accepted, and the pressure of pursuing a meaningful life. Some of us have moments of brief distress that can be overcome with objective support and validation; others endure a suffering that can be unbearable. As a psychotherapist, I offer a compassionate, empathic, and affirming presence for you in these difficult moments, whatever they are for you. I have extensive experience working with individuals with mood disorders, thought disorders, anxiety, past or current trauma, substance use/ abuse, and personality disorders.
