I have 20 years experience in mental health counseling and psychiatric nursing. I have a passion to help the hurting find hope. Life is beautiful like the ocean at sunset. Life can also bring in trials like waves that knock us off of our feet and leave us gasping for air and feel like we are drowning. Whether it is situations in life such as divorce and death or it could be disorders such as depression and anxiety, counseling can guide you back to to a place of hope and healing. I have experience with children, adolescents and adults. I have worked with families and individuals to resolve conflict and grief. Diagnosis I have worked with are :Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, Personality Disorders, Reactive Attachment Disorder, Selective Mutism, Oppisitional Defiance Disorder, ADHD, Substance abuse and PTSD. Experienced in self harming assessments. I specialize in trauma and addictions. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitation and Reprocessing (EMDR) which is the only psychotherapy that is evidenced based to work with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I will be a certified alcohol and drug counselor in June.
