I use a number of therapeutic modalities including Redecision Therapy and CBT. I see the power as being in you the client and that it's my job to create an environment in which you can make new decisions in your life and get out of your unconscious script. This process will encourage you to choose to live autonomously by responding to the new environment in an appropriate way for this time and place. I encourage you to relinquish old feelings from the past and stop looking for reasons to justify them. As a Maine native I have worked in nursing roles in the Portland community for over 30 years. These career experiences, my spirituality, my sense of humor and my mother's legacy inform my practice. I have been a psychiatric clinical nurse specialist/psychotherapist in various settings for over 23 years.
