I provide counseling to couples and individuals to effectively address the troubles they are having in their relationships and personal lives. Areas of significant experience counseling people include; relationship discord, intimacy, anxiety, grief, a history of trauma and abuse, end of life issues, depression, substance abuse, life transitions, and gender issues. I strive to provide an individually tailored and collaborative approach that is unique to each person. In doing so I draw from an array of counseling theories and techniques to incorporate what is effective and embraced by each individual. I provide LGBQT and kink friendly counseling. My approach is integrative, experiential and collaborative. I am most effective with people motivated to change and curious about themselves. I encourage and guide my clients to employ and develop their innate wisdom. My hope is that you develop perspective, insight, and direction that will be applied beyond your immediate reasons for counseling. I completed a year long post graduate training with the Couples Institute, Level 1 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and have been trained in Hakomi Psychotherapy through the Hakomi Institute of Oregon. I have an ongoing and passionate interest in healthy relationships, emotional maturity, interpersonal neurobiology, and meditation practice.
