As a clinical psychologist with an emphasis in health psychology, I use a psychoanalytic approach. However, I've also integrated a variety of approaches when needed, such as behavioral, cognitive, DBT and other skills training. I believe healing takes place in the context of a safe, therapeutic relationship. Over the years, I've worked with a variety of disorders many of which involve historic issues such as tumultuous childhoods.
