My name is Jada Kouba and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor-C (LCPC-C) practicing in the Greater Portland area. I enjoy working with adults, children, adolescents and families. I have several years of experience working in a variety of settings and I would consider myself a sensitive and integrative counselor. Additionally, I offer Christian based counseling to individuals who wish to integrate their faith in the counseling process. I greatly enjoy working with individuals and families and I am skilled in the areas of behavioral, parental, and family issues. Furthermore, I am skilled in the areas of: Anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, emotional and relationship problems, and mood disturbance. My style of counseling is integrative and eclectic. I pull from several different approaches and theories of counseling, including: CBT, Gestalt and Narrative Therapy, Client Centered Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is an essential catalyst to change, and I strive to encourage, support and challenge my clients throughout the counseling process. I believe in the power of my clients to overcome, heal, and grow from their experiences and I value being there along the way.
