Tired of inadequate 15 minute appointments with your psychiatrist? Feel like you are not heard? Most of my appointments are 45- 60 min. After a complete psycho/social/spiritual evaluation, we will create a treatment plan just for you that addresses your mental, physical and spiritual needs when interested and desired. My services include counseling, labs, and medication prescribing and management when applicable. Why see 2 different providers for your mental health needs? If you already have a counselor and just need the medical component, I will work together with your current counselor to get you what you need. I see adults, children and adolescents, utilizing different therapies, including my favorite: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I also encourage use of your healthy spiritual beliefs and practices to aid in your healing. For mental health issues, besides providing counseling, we will screen for medical/nutritional/genetic deficiencies,explore lifestyle habits or cultural/spiritual issues. I love and welcome people of all religious/cultural backgrounds! My minor was "Cross Cultural Health" Also, for difficult patients, I can do genetic testing to see which type of meds would be most beneficial. Whether it is on the trail or in the office, I think we can work out a beneficial therapeutic relationship!
