There are times in our lives when we feel stuck or overwhelmed by circumstances. Though life challenges are part of our journey, therapy can help bring out clarity at times when things seem murky. I view our work together as a mutual collaboration and feel honored to be a part of your journey towards change. I have a gentle yet interactive style of working and infuse a variety of techniques in my work. My clients find me to be very easy to talk to and engaging. My clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, couples, families and adults experiencing a wide range of difficulties such as depression, anxiety, anger, addiction, abuse, relationship problems, stress, self-esteem, grief and loss. Specializing in trauma, I have trained extensively in the use of Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR), a method for resolving trauma. With over 10 years of experience, I have enjoyed working with clients doing individual, group and family sessions in both English and Spanish. In addition to being a certified TIR facilitator, I am also certified to train and supervise other clinicians towards certification using this approach.
